Bio and Note
About the Founder
Randy Burt is a Colorado native who has spent the last 18 years in the Information Technology industry working for organizations out of Denver and the surrounding area.
His work has consisted of solutioning, delivering, and supporting various large scale enterprises ranging from a satellite imaging company dealing in petabytes of data that consisted of imagery that both Microsoft and Google consumed to hyperscale cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and International Business Machines (IBM) SmartCloud for Government that served US Government Agencies and large corporations. He has also supported State & Local Government public services and small businesses.
Randy attended the University of Northern Colorado where he earned a degree in Business with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems. Roughly 6 years later he pursued and earned a graduate degree from Colorado State University which resulted in a Masters of Computer Information Systems.
Concurrently, he achieved additional certifications firming up his expertise in Information Security through the International Information Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) earning his Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
Additionally, he achieved his Project Management Professional certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI) in 2017. During his time with Amazon Web Services (AWS) he was certified as an AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect Associate, and AWS Developer Associate.
In 2019, Randy was invited and spotlighted in the Government Cloud leader panel on the Government Matters episode named Innovation That Works: Cloud because of the work he had been delivering in the Federal space and as a Federal Cloud Service Provider.
Most recently he is the founder and lead technical architect and engineer for Bit9 IT Solutions, LLC.
